Multi-Vehicle Crash on Georgia 400 Sends 5 to Hospital

Every now and then, you hear about a multi-vehicle accident that sends a handful of people to the hospital. These accidents are usually very serious. They start out with one car colliding into another. Before you know it, other cars swerve to avoid the collision. Instead of avoiding it, they become part of it. You would bet that someone had died in the crash. Especially when the wreck closes down the highway for 5 or more hours.

This is exactly what happened in Roswell, Georgia this past weekend. A total of 5 cars were involved in what rescue crews thought would’ve been a deadly crash. After finally sifting through the debris, the police found one driver had been ejected from their car. Another had to be extricated from their car because they were trapped. Another occupant was trapped and also had to be pried from the car.

Miraculously, nobody was killed in the crash. The accident happened at about 4:30 a.m. This is a time when there usually aren’t that many cars on the road. Especially on a Sunday morning. In all, 5 people were taken to the local hospital. All were said to have serious injuries. Thankfully, by the next day, all had been listed as in stable condition.

The police are still investigating the cause of the crash. No names have been released and no comments have been made by any of the victims. There is no indication that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. We expect to hear more about this large crash in the upcoming days.
