I learned about this law firm from a local area group. At first, I was going to hire a large firm. The kind of firms that always advertise on the radio and on television. I am so glad that I didn’t! I wish to commend Wade Law in the most glowing terms for the firm’s handling of my daughter’s custody battle and subsequent divorce from the father of her eldest children. Wade Law did not just meet our expectations – they exceeded them. They showed my family and me that when a law firm employs skillful litigation, hard work, and meticulous preparation, as was done on our behalf, very good things can happen. They always found time to answer our questions, address our concerns, and keep us abreast of new developments in a timely manner every step of the way. They also sent us every court order with immediacy, a fact we greatly appreciated.

In August 2020, it became apparent that my daughter’s marriage was coming to an end. She was going to need help in seeking a favorable divorce decree and a fair custody arrangement for their children in Upson County, Georgia, Superior Court. My family resides in Texas. Thankfully, a friendly acquaintance in Atlanta referred us to Leslie W. Wade, Esq. and her family law team at Wade Law in Fayetteville, Georgia, to handle my daughter’s divorce and custody litigation. First, Leslie succeeded in getting dissolved a protective order against my daughter that barred her from having contact with her children for several months. In February 2021, in anticipation of a hearing to determine primary temporary custody of the children, Leslie and the firm’s associate attorney, Stephen Greene, Esq., met with my daughter and me in their offices for over 8 hours, during which I bore witness to the intensity and thoroughness of their preparation, including their preparation of my daughter and me as witnesses. The next day they expertly and effectively litigated the matter for a similar time period. While we had hoped to prevail, even we could not have anticipated the magnitude of our victory. The judge awarded my daughter temporary primary custody and allowed her to bring the girls back to Texas. We could scarcely believe this sensational news!

In September 2021, in anticipation of the divorce trial, Leslie and Stephen met with my daughter and me for over 8 hours once again. The trial almost lasted as long the next day and, once again, Leslie and Stephen were up to the challenge. In the end, my daughter remained the primary custodial parent and a final decree of divorce was secured a few weeks later. We were happy and relieved with the result. We are aware of what a hard-fought victory it was.

The firm’s backbone - its support staff - worked tirelessly on detail-oriented items such as exhibits, competently and almost magically turned my daughter’s discovery responses into something meaningful and persuasive, and fielded phone calls and e-mails from my daughter, her mother, and (yes) me for many months with patience and grace. They too have our everlasting gratitude.
